School Outline
As an education and training institution that has an accreditation by the academic credit bank according to the related laws, our school is an educational institution that grants equal degrees as junior colleges and universities when students at our school receive a small amount of credit. Accreditation assesses whether or not the course of learning created at an education and training institution corresponds to college(university) in terms of the standard of quality.
- Method of accruing credit
- When completing a small amount of credits based on the learning design of our school, students can accrue the same credit as universities or colleges according to the higher education act, and are granted by the Minister of Education (National Institute for Lifelong Education).
- Conditions to be granted credit
- To be recognized one has to accrue more than 140 credits for a bachelor's degree, more than 80 credits for an associate's degree, (for 3 year programs its 120 credits).
- Courses
- All courses of study at our school are carried out based on the model curriculum announced by the Minister of Education, Science and Technology. The model curriculum includes credit type and majors, major courses according to major, elective courses, amount of credit, lesson time number, not to mention matters regarding standards of accreditation, credit recognition other general matters about the courses. Currently the standard education curriculum consists of 24 bachelor degree programs with 109 possible majors, and 13 types of associate degrees with 109 majors.
